Itinerary
We will pass at your hotel in the morning at 8:00 am, then we will star to travel ahead to small town of Písaq, about 40 minutes from Cusco city. Here, we will visit to archaeological center once there, our Guide will provide to you with relevant historical information to get in context about Pisaq as a part of the sacred valley and after that enriching information we will have time to explore the site on our own then let’s drop to craft market.
Afterwards, we will go to Urubamba located at middle way of our tour, where we will have time to have lunch (check optional service), in order to have energy for our next place to see,Ollantaytambo town, there we will get up to terraces top to visit one of the main temples of this places, which is the sun templo, where probably how those gigantic stones were taken there, will leave you amazed, there we understand bit better why the sun was so important for the Incas and learn a little more about the construction forms used by the Quechuas. Next, we will walk a section of an original Inca Trail to descend to our starting point, with views of the surrounding valleys and the same places we stepped on a moment ago.
Finally, we will move to Chinchero, a place where we can visit the church and admire the paintings, sculptures and altars that testify to the history of the building since its construction in the 17th century. Back in Cusco, we will say goodbye to the Guide and the vehicle will leave us at a point near the Plaza de Armas.
