Town nestled at the edge of our route, from where in a few minutes of traveling we can see in the distance the Ausangate snow-capped (highest snow-capped mountain in southern Peru), and thus we continue to reach the pre-Inca archaeological remains of Ninamarka belonging to Lupaka culture originally and after explanation and visit of this place we will continue our trip to Paucartambo where our staff awaits us with a delicious breakfast in our colonial house Quinty Nature in Paucartambo.
Our tour is focused on getting to know and live closer experiences, being participants and achieving the blessing of the Virgen del Carmen, patroness of the town of Paucartambo, we can be exclusive participants in a healing mass, blessing of scapulars and paintings, even a confession session, we will have the opportunity to listen and get closer to the Virgen del Carmen that will surely alleviate our sorrows. At the end of this productive morning, we will retire to our local Quinty Nature to enjoy a delicious lunch prepared by our professional chefs and have a rest time previously to our next activity.
This afternoon we will visit the local museum of Paucartambo that in its rooms shows its culture, tradition, archaeological remains, customs and part of its territory nestled in the Manu National Park, this activity will take us approximately three hours and then we will return to our Quinty Nature colonial house hotel to have dinner and enjoy a restful rest and renew energy for our next day that will be intense.
Today we start early, we are planning to reach the Mirador de Tres Cruces,View Point, for us the highest point in terms of altitude above sea level (3900 m. a. s. l./ 127950 ft approx.), the viewpoint of Tres Cruces is magical and at certain times of the year it offers a spectacular sunrising, famous for showing sunbeams of different shades in those few minutes that the wise nature offers you, we are subject to the changing and capricious weather conditions, the Amazon jungle can show up at your feet or a mattress of clouds that makes you feel that you are floating on them.
After this activity, our staff will set up our table to have our picnic breakfast ready and enjoy a nice view with a cup of coffee at your hand (or another optional drink) that will make your experience special on our tour. Our last activity is aimed at getting to know the archaeological place of Huatoqto, a strategic center and an important component of the network of roads and places used by our Inca culture and probably the access point to the last Inca refuge that has been kept alive until now, the Qeros nation. After this last visit we have to return to the city of Cusco. It will be two hours of travel this time in the opposite direction to the one we did and we will finish our services in the plaza regocijo in the downtown.
